If you have medium - dark skin tone and you're looking for a nude brown lipstick, it's got to be 'Whirl'. As I've always said MAC lipsticks are the best in terms of longevity, colour choice and comfort, especially the matte range.

Whatever you do during this lockdown, do not colour your own hair. I repeat, do not colour your own hair at home. As tempting as it may be, just don't do it. I know personally how hard it is when the greys start creeping out and your colour starts to fade, but honestly those box dyes are just absolute shite. Don't believe the TV Ads (I've worked for a brand and seen what happens) as the results you see are not achieved with a £5.99 box dye...

Yes, sometimes you can find a good product from a high street brand which works wonders for your skin. Let's face it, salons aren't reopening until December at least and we need to give our skin that extra TLC in preparation for when we do go back...

How Old Are Your Makeup Products?

If you think you're slowly starting to lose your shit, don't worry you're not alone. Whether it's week two or three of 'quarantine season', almost everyone is feeling the same. The most important thing you can do other than #StayHome is #StayBusy. 

One thing that has been keeping me busy the past couple of weeks is 'spring cleaning' my beauty drawers and cupboards. I've been putting it off forever simply because it took me forever, but boy were the benefits so worth it in the end. We're all guilty of keeping beauty products longer than their expiry dates, we wouldn't keep food past it's best before date, so why do we think it's okay to do it with beauty?

Stop what you're doing, go and check out the expiry date on your makeup products...and then order new product to replace them. You'll instantly feel a lot better, not sure I can say the same about your bank balance.
