MAC 'WHIRL' LIPSTICK SWATCH

If you have medium - dark skin tone and you're looking for a nude brown lipstick, it's got to be 'Whirl'. As I've always said MAC lipsticks are the best in terms of longevity, colour choice and comfort, especially the matte range.

Instant Look In a Palette | Charlotte Tilbury

I loveeee Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Look in a Palette. I received one around 3 birthdays ago which is when I fell in love with it and was recently lucky enough to get another one for my birthday.

The Instant Look in a Palette offers everything you need in a palette to create a look; eyeshadow base, eyeshadow, bronzer, blush and highlight.

How Often Do Your Wash Your Beauty Blender?

We'll never forget that horrific video of a girl cutting open her Beauty Blender and finding little things crawling out, will we? Sorry to start with such a disgusting blast from the past but there's a lesson to be learnt. How often are you washing and replacing your Beauty Blender?

Rice Water For Hair Growth?

I love trying a DIY beauty treatment and have been meaning to try the rice water trick since last year. What better time to try out a new beauty hack?

What does rice water do for your hair?

Rice water is the starchy water leftover after rice is cooked or left to soak. It's thought to make hair smoother, shinier and promotes hair growth.

How Old Are Your Makeup Products?

If you think you're slowly starting to lose your shit, don't worry you're not alone. Whether it's week two or three of 'quarantine season', almost everyone is feeling the same. The most important thing you can do other than #StayHome is #StayBusy.

One thing that has been keeping me busy the past couple of weeks is 'spring cleaning' my beauty drawers and cupboards. I've been putting it off forever simply because it took me forever, but boy were the benefits so worth it in the end. We're all guilty of keeping beauty products longer than their expiry dates, we wouldn't keep food past it's best before date, so why do we think it's okay to do it with beauty?

Stop what you're doing, go and check out the expiry date on your makeup products...and then order new product to replace them. You'll instantly feel a lot better, not sure I can say the same about your bank balance.

Update on the Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation | Review

So you may remember my review on the Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation, if not click here now. I said I would purchase the shade up because it was a little light and dull on me, and I actually ended up purchasing 3.50W which was a little risky without seeing it however...

Are You Washing Your Makeup Brushes Enough?

Be honest, when is the last time you washed your makeup brushes? If it was in the last week, give yourself a pat on the back. If it was sometime this month, well done you're on the right track. If it was longer than a month ago, go and wash them right this minute, or after you've read this blog post...

Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation | Review

I think the moment your boyfriend compliments your foundation, you're onto a winning product.

I'm a big fan of Beauty Blender as a brand, and have been for years, I can't remember the last time I actually used a brush to apply my foundation. So soon as this launched I was so excited to get my hands on the Bounce Foundation, although it took me a few months, it was so worth the wait.

Top 10 Beauty Products

Being in the beauty industry and a ‘blogger’ for over 6 years, I have been and forever am surrounded by beauty products, samples, freebies and ‘new innovation’. However it really takes a lot for me to try a new product because I’ve seen it all more or less and let’s face it they all do the same job apart from having different claims. I really hope my future boss isn’t reading this...oops

Pixi Rose Tonic | Review

I recently discovered the Pixi Rose Tonic Toner* and it’s quickly become one of my Holy Grail skincare products. Prior to using this, I’ll admit I had no idea what a toner actually does for your skin. If I had known earlier, I could have avoided some pretty nasty acne spots over the past few years...

It’s been a while hasn’t it? But, I’m back!
