Top 10 Beauty Products

Being in the beauty industry and a ‘blogger’ for over 6 years, I have been and forever am surrounded by beauty products, samples, freebies and ‘new innovation’. However it really takes a lot for me to try a new product because I’ve seen it all more or less and let’s face it they all do the same job apart from having different claims. I really hope my future boss isn’t reading this...oops

There are 10 products in particular (there are more but these are like the elite top 10) I highly recommend. I personally cannot ever change these products from my routine unless I find something better which is going to be pretty hard as I have stuck by these products for years.

Here’s what I love and why:

#1 Beauty Blender Pro (Black)

  • I haven’t used a makeup brush to apply my foundation or concealer in 10 years
  • Lasts 2 - 3 months if you take care of it and wash it each time you use it
  • Ensures foundation, concealer & baking powder applies to your face with a flawless finish

#2 Smashbox Water Primer Spray

  • Silicone-free so doesn’t break me out
  • It’s a spray so there’s no need to apply a cream texture
  • Can be used as a primer, makeup refresher and a setting spray
  • Lasts ages, it’s an investment babes

#3 Barry M Waterproof Eyeliner

  • Dupe for the Urban Decay Eyeliner
  • Affordable (£3.99)
  • Super black, once applied it doesn’t budge

#4 Charlotte Tilbury Magic Dry Sheet Mask

  • It’s dry so you don’t have that super wet texture when applying or take it off
  • Makes makeup application 10 x better
  • Gives your skin a flawless glow
  • You can get 3 or 4 uses from this unlike other sheet masks
  • I believe Charlotte Tilbury gets these manufactured by a French company who sell similar masks in Selfridges (for a looooooot more than CT sells them for)

#5 Pixi Glow Tonic Toner

  • Reduces dead skin
  • Gives your skin a glow immediately
  • Reduces break outs

#6 Pixi Rose Tonic Toner

  • Minimises redness, impurities and calms the skin
  • Gives your skin a glow but not as much as Glow Tonic
  • Reduces and kills break outs

#7 MAC Longwear Concealer

  • Long-lasting
  • A little goes a very long way, so it lasts around 6 months
  • A thick consistency which allows you to cover a lot (and your sins)
  • Part of the Back to MAC recycling scheme so you can add it to your collection to get a free lipstick

#8 Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder

  • My holy grail
  • A little goes a long way
  • Sets your makeup like there’s no tomorrow
  • Does not crease (bear in mind if you have wrinkles and fine lines, baking isn’t for you)
  • Doesn’t flash back
  • See more here

#9 YSL Black Opium

  • My go-to fragrance for day and night
  • Long-lasting
  • Makes you smell sexy
  • Top notes include Bergamot & Black Coffee Accord

#10 Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder

  • A great neutral tone for ALL skin tones
  • Great for contouring (remember there’s a difference between contouring and applying bronzer)
  • One pot will last you ages
  • Comes with a mini brush which helps you get that perfect contour line whether you’re a beginner or pro
